Miss Wanthana Sudjarit and teachers from Banglamung Schools, escorted a selection of students from the middle/secondary level classes from all 11 Pattaya schools, and the Wat Sutthawart School, on a field trip.
The trip was organised under the banner of ‘Our Green Classroom’ and was established, this is the first of many, to encourage pupils to take more interest in their environment and the conservation of energy.
The pupils were taken to the to Thoranee Suksa Village, a new theory learning centre at the Navy Base, which was designed to educate both children and adults on their precious environment, and what they can do to protect it.
Those attending, received a very warm welcome from the Navy personnel and then learnt a little on the history of the centre. The centre wishes to educate a wide range of people including government officials, military families, local residents, and now students, on the theories of the Royal Agricultural Program.
Miss Wanthana Sudjarit, stated that this would be the first of many such trips organised for the school children of Pattaya.
As soon as the pupils returned from their trip, they were soon conspiring together in order to make their classrooms greener, and educate fellow pupils.
