A press conference recently took place to announce confirmation of the Wan Lai festival and Na Klua Kong Khao Fair 2010, which is intended to pass on the traditional Thai customs and traditions to the next generation. Pattaya City Hall have been organising the event every year and each year more and more locals and tourists are drawn to the spectacle.

The events will take place from the 18th to the 20th April, and will commence with a giving of arms ceremony for 99 monks at Lan Pho Park on the 18th. On the 19th the Wan Lai Festival will be held at Wat Chai Mongkol, South Pattaya, and the Na Klua Kong Khao Festival will take place on the 20th.

On the 19th April Pattaya Beach Road will be closed to traffic from the curve at North Pattaya all the way down to Walking Street. A great deal of thought has gone into the decision to close the road and it is hoped this will greatly add to everyone’s enjoyment.
