Workers fled to safety and no one was hurt when a fire broke out on the 12th floor of a condo under construction on Jomtien Two Road. It took firemen about 20 minutes to douse the flames and restore safety. Damage was limited to a single air conditioning unit and a box.
Police investigators determined that the cause of the fire was a short circuit. Or maybe someone disposed of a cigarette that ignited nearby newspapers.
