Police and Rescue Services were called to a rented room at the Prasopsoot Apartments located close to the train track road on Soi Kow Noi, after a single gunshot had been heard from inside room number 217 on the second floor. Emergency services entered the room and discovered the body of Khun Isarin, aged 28, who from the signs of gunshot residue on his hands and clothes had obviously shot himself.
Outside the room police officers questioned the dead man’s former girlfriend, Khun Oranit, aged 24, who explained that despite a restraining order issued by Pattaya’s Provincial Court, her ex boyfriend had once again turned up at her room, and they had argued for over two hours before she had left. A Short time later, neighbours heard the gun shot and notified the police.
