The Managing Director of the Mike Group of Companies, Khun Surat, recently made a presentation to the Pattaya Police Department of equipment, which will be utilised to help track police officers and their whereabouts. The presentation took place at the Pattaya Police Station.

The specialist electronic equipment, in excess of 140,000 baht in value, will take the place of the traditional Red Letter Boxes in present use, and will allow the officers to simply swipe a sensor which will send the name of the officers, his location and the time, to a central computer in Pattaya Police Station. With the traditional Red Letter Boxes, officers were required to write in a register the relevant information.

Police Colonel Nantawoot, the Pattaya Police Chief, gratefully accepted the donation of the equipment from Khun Surat and thanked the Mike Group of Companies for their continued support throughout the whole community.
