Band Mild headlines a concert at Tavern by the Sea Friday night. Beginning at 7 PM, the pop group will perform it’s acclaimed hit Unlovable and a variety of other tunes during the four-hour concert at Tavern by the Sea Pub and Restaurant, Amari Orchid Pattaya. The management and staff of Pattaya Marriot Resort & Spa invited associates and guests to a merit-making ceremony in the hotel ballroom where Somsak Tanruengsri, general manager, led the group in donating rice and other food as part of the Resort’s New Year tradition.

Several government ministers and advisers joined Pattaya mayor Itthiphol Kunplome and other civic officials in the countdown to the new year at Bali Hai which included an impressive firework display before 20,000 local and international visitors.

Phairoj Boonchan, general manager of Central Center Pattaya, presided over a festive season Wonderland Magic and Fun Park. Father Christmas, not yet back at the North Pole, made a late appearance and there were many kids’ attractions, a candy tree, concerts and fireworks displays. There was also a special offer in operation as everyone spending 500 baht in the mall received a coupon for a lottery worth 200,000 baht.
