Recently, at Boyz Boyz Boyz in Boyz Town, twelve young hopefuls waited patiently hoping to be the one to win the title “Miss Pattaya Pride 2010″. The evening was hosted jointly by Jim from Boyz Boyz Boyz and Miss Tiffany 2006. A total of 33,000 Baht prize money was on offer, sponsored by Boyz Town businesses, plus trophies, sashes and of course crowns.
The judges for the evening were: Mr Ken Smith (Creative Director at Tiffany’s), Khun Pim from the Angelwitch Bar in Walking Street and Miss “Millie” Johnson from Holland.
The audience selected the winners for Miss Popular and runner-up by purchasing roses, the proceeds of which went to Pattaya Pride Charities. This was a close run thing between number 1 (Khun Daareega from Tiffany Show) and number 11 (Khun Sandy individual entry). Miss Popular (number 1) won 6,000 Baht and number 11 won 4,000 Baht.
The judges first decision of the evening was to select the “Best Costume” and the winner was number 1, winning a further 6,000 Baht.
The final five were then presented to the audience and the judges so that the winners could be selected. In third place, winning 3,000 Baht was number 7 (Khun White from Kitten Club); in second place, winning 6,000 Baht was number 4 (Khun Watsakan from Alcazar).
The title “Miss Pattaya Pride 2010″ plus 8,000 Baht went to number 1 (Khun Daareega from Tiffany Show).
The evening raised 135,000 Baht, which included a 50,000 Baht donation from Mr Colin Rogers and Mr Ben Nash in the UK. This money will all go to benefit Pattaya Pride charities.
