Shinwa Group, a large Japanese property firm, flags in Thailand, joining hands with Woraluk Property to establish W-Shinwa with the launch of Runesu Thonglor 5 worth over 1.2 billion baht. The project is designed by IAO Takeda, a design champion for five consecutive years from Japan, with Sigma Beam, the patent innovation of Runesu’s structure—one and only in the world and the first in Southeast Asia. The group eyes to use Thailand as a base to expand business in other countries in the region including the US and Europe.
Wichai Chula-Olarnkun and Tomoyasu Yamabe, co-CEO of W-Shinwa Co., Ltd. which is a joint venture between Woraluk Property Public Co., Ltd. and Shinwa Real Estate Co., Ltd., a large Japanese property developer, disclose that the first project under the cooperation is Runesu Thonglor 5, a low-rise eight-storey condominium with all-inclusive experience of authentic Japanese environment and lifestyle. The project is perfectly designed by IAO Takeda, a design firm which has won the design champion in Japan for five consecutive years. It is also blended with Sigma Beam, Japanese innovative construction technology and the patent of Runesu’s structure—one and only in the world. With Sigma Beam, beam is adjusted to be floor and floor to be beam which can increase additional usable space by 25-40 percent, maximizing functions. Not only the first project in Thailand, it is also the first one in Southeast Asia.
Runesu Thonglor 5 is located on a 1-rai plot of land, developed by W-Shinwa Co., Ltd. It is a low-rise condominium with an eight-storey building and a total of 156 units. There are two types including 1- and 2-bedroom sized from 29-65 square meters with prices starting from 4.9 million baht. It is designed to feature authentic Japanese living, a new phenomenon found only here. Some parts of construction materials and decorative items being used in the project will be imported from Japan like new system bathroom where floor can be dried very quickly within 1 minute and NANO tiles with special qualification in absorbing odor and moisture and protecting dust mites. In common area, facilities are provided like Japanese garden, Onsen originated from Japan, swimming pool, golf driving range, auto parking system, security system and etc. It is set to have an official launch in March 2017. Construction will start in the second quarter, being scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter 2017. Project sales value is over 1.2 billion baht.
