“It being the Songkran holidays, not much of a showing was expected for the 3 Sisters golf at Pattaya Country Club. Turned out the golfers were there, and ready to play. It was obvious that we were not going to get a break from the heat. The 3 Sisters early T-Off is the only thing that might have saved us from having a few cases of heat stroke. In the end everybody made it back to Caddie Shack II safe and sound. Body temperatures were brought down to normal, with some ice cold drinks, snacks, dogs and sandwiches from Herbie took care of replenishing the energy levels.
Checking of the cards revealed that the heat had in fact taken its toll on the scores. Two Canadians ended up on top of the heap, Matt Miller with a 32, and Dale Drader with a 31. Proving that a little heat is not going to slow someone who has been tested in some real summer heat.”
