As many as 39 students from the football academy of Wat Saha it Mongkhon School in Saraburi’s Nong Khae district have tested positive for Covid19.
The cluster was discovered when public health officials responded to a tip and checked 60 students and school staff with ATK tests.
The 39 students from the school’s football academy who tested positive are being treated in a room at Wat Khok Matum, while the rest are undergoing a 10-day quarantine.
Meanwhile, Wat Sahamit Mongkhon School has been labelled as a red zone and people are prohibited from entering without permission. The training sessions are suspended, while players and staff have been instructed to strictly follow the health measures.
