A 51-year-old Thai woman in the main district of Chonburi has won first prize in the Thai national lottery the day before yesterday and received the sweet sum of 12 million baht.
The Thai lottery is announced twice a month (1st and 16th of each month). One lane of the first prize lottery is worth 6 million baht.
Thongbai Wichuna, 51, a chicken meat seller in Na Pa, showed her two sets of tickets yesterday afternoon with number 077258 with her name on the back of the ticket.
The happy Thongbai said: ‘I used to hope that one day I could pay all my debts and have a new house. I don’t have a lot of money and work as a food vendor, I sell chicken, which, while it makes just enough to pay my bills, doesn’t allow me to save money or pay off my previous debts.”
“I am very happy to have won the first prize in the lottery. I will use the money to pay off my debt, buy a house and donate to others in need during the Covid19 pandemic.” so concluded Thongbai.
