8 Covid patients in a field hospital in Buriram caught partying
In a field hospital in Buriram, 8 Covid19 patients were caught on August 5 through camera images at a party where the drink flowed freely.
This was a clear violation of the Alcoholic Drinks Control Act, which carries a prison sentence of up to six months and/or a fine of up to 10,000 baht, as well as a violation of the emergency decree, which carries a prison sentence of up to two years and/ or a fine of 40,000 baht.
Four partygoers have since confessed, two of them said they were chatting alone, one denies allegations, while one is in critical condition in hospital and is unresponsive.
The patients will be called for questioning and legal action once they are released from the hospital.
