A 31-year-old motorcyclist found a crying newborn baby in the early morning hours of this week, which had been dumped in a garbage can in Bang Kapi district. Police later traced the mother, a woman from Myanmar, to work at a nearby grocery store. Both were immediately taken to hospital, police said.
