Should the current strict restrictions in the dark red zones fail and the number of Covid-19 cases remains high, the Director-General of the Disease Control Authority, Dr. Opart Karnkawinpong, recommend a complete closure of the cities or provinces
Dr. Opart said that if the number of new infections remains high, a lockdown, such as the one in Wuhan, China, should be considered. Such a lockdown would mean people would have to stay at home, travel would be banned and food and water delivered to people’s homes.
The restrictions can be further tightened until the situation is under control.
