The robber was arrested within 72 hours of escaping with 37 baht of gold. Officials have been able to recover almost all of the gold. The suspect is a 21-year-old man whose name was not mentioned. Witnesses reported that the man was small, about 170 centimetres tall. He was wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, boots and a gun. The gold was worth nearly 1 million baht.
The gold store was Toh Gang 1991 located in Pantip Plaza G floor. The man escaped on a stolen motorcycle he had stolen from a local. The incident took place on April 24, 2021, and the robber was arrested on April 27, 2021.
