Mr Russell Crowe, an actor by trade, is in Thailand to film his next Hollywood blockbuster, “The Greatest Beer Run Ever”, he seems to be having a lot of fun in Bangkok and Phuket judging by his many tweets.

“Thai people are so friendly, so welcoming and natural, the food is just amazing,” the 57-year-old actor wrote on Twitter.

Mr Crowe entered Thailand through the Phuket Sandbox program at the end of September and settled in the luxury resort of Amanpuri. While in Phuket, Crowe said he was happy to be “locked up on the island, not in a room,” adding that the flexibility of the quarantine schedule was unlike anything he’d experienced before.

“The weather in September was wet but sooo warm. When the sun came out it was beyond beautiful,” Crowe tweeted, another posting of his said: “I’m sure the rest of the country has great experiences to share too.”

Now, the superstar travels the capital Bangkok to snap and post selfies taken in various locations, including Lhong 1919, a 19th-century Chinese mansion converted into a mixed-use complex in the Khlong San area.

Australian Ambassador to Thailand Allan McKinnon joined in the fun, posting a question on Twitter: “For everyone in Thailand, do you have a suggestion for where he should take his next selfie?”
