The operator of the BTS Skytrain elevated train in Thailand’s capital city urged passengers with long hair not to shake it so that it touches other passengers’ faces, especially during peak hours

The administrator of the BTS Web page publicly reported that the company has received several complaints from passengers about people on the train waving their hair and sometimes accidentally touching other passengers’ faces, eyes or mouths. People using the elevated train during morning rush hour, when many are forced to stand close together, said that sometimes someone’s hair flew into their faces, but they did not say anything to the wearers so as not to create a scandal.

Passengers with long hair are asked to exercise caution when on the train, especially during rush hours, by holding their hair with their hand when boarding, exiting or passing other passengers in order to maintain a good atmosphere while riding public transportation.

Previously, the BTS Skytrain operator in Bangkok also asked passengers not to sit cross-legged and not to take durian on the train
