At least four people have been killed after a grandstand collapses at a bullfight in Columbia. About 300 others were injured, 30 of them seriously.
Footage shows the collapse of the wooden stands on one side of the stadium. Hundreds of people attended the bullring, called El Espinal, located about 150 kilometres southwest of the capital Bogota.
The cause of the accident is still unclear at this time. All the victims who were under the rubble have since been rescued, says Mayor Luis Fernando Velez, who called on people to leave the stadium and give the emergency services, who have been massively mobilized freeway. A bull is said to have caused panic in the streets of the city after the incident, where the animal could roam freely.
