Disturbing Trailer of Horror Movie Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey’ Released
Do you still have fond memories of the time you spent hours watching Winnie the Pooh on television as a child? Then wet your chest, because those memories of the gentle bear will be completely crushed in the upcoming horror movie Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. In the first trailer of the film, your favorite teddy bear can be seen as a very violent serial killer.
The disturbing trailer shows a murderous Winnie the Pooh who isn’t too happy that his good friend Chris Robinson has abandoned him in 100 Acre Wood. As a result, the once sweet bear is completely feral and slaughters everything and everyone that comes in its path. Winnie doesn’t do this alone, because his accomplice Piglet also turns out to be a bloodthirsty psychopath.
Rumors of a Winnie the Pooh horror film were already circulating in May when screenshots of the film surfaced on the internet. The website Dread Central then discovered that a page had been created on IMDb for a movie called Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey.
The film is directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield and actor Craig David Dowsett takes on the role of the horror bear. Winnie the Pooh and Piglet Raid hits theaters on October 20.
Winnie the Pooh was once conceived by British author AA Milne, who published the very first book about the bear in 1926. In 1961, Disney decided to buy up the rights to Winnie the Pooh. However, since January 1, 2022, Winnie the Pooh has come under the public domain, meaning anyone can use and edit the original versions of Winnie the Pooh as they see fit for creative work such as movies and musicals.
