Donald Trump’s Villa Invaded by FBI
The FBI has searched Donald Trump’s home. In the villa in Palm Beach (Florida), agents are said to have been looking for confidential documents.
The former president himself shared the news through his own social network Truth Social. “My beautiful home, Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, is currently under siege, raided and occupied by a large group of FBI agents,” Trump wrote. “After working with the relevant government organizations, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate.” He also accuses the “radical-left Democrats” of trying to prevent him from running for the 2024 presidential election.

Anonymous sources tell The New York Times that the FBI agents were looking for documents that Trump allegedly took from the White House. It would be fifteen boxes containing, among other things, confidential documents. Normally, these documents must be added to the government archives. Trump delayed submitting these documents for months and did so only after being threatened with action. By raiding his villa, the FBI reportedly wanted to check whether the former president had turned in everything.
