Dutchman arrested in Bangkok for allegedly selling used cars with false registration certificates

Thai immigration police have arrested a 35-year-old man from the Netherlands who ran a second-hand garage where he allegedly falsified vehicle registrations. Police say he also overstayed his visa by 10 years.

Police identified the Dutchman as Stanley R. They say he ran a used car business and had a business page on Facebook called “Car Planet.”

It was reported that Stanley would buy cars in Pattaya from people who couldn’t make payments, and then sell the cars with fake registration.

Police arrested him at 72 Ramkhamhaeng Soi in Bangkok, which was listed on a page under “Car Planet”.
