Elderly foreign expat suddenly falls from an apartment in the center of Pattaya to his death

 A 72-year-old foreign man, believed to be an expatriate, was pronounced dead late last night after falling from an apartment building in central Pattaya.

The incident took place just before midnight in Central Pattaya on the 16th floor of a well-known local condominium, the investigation was led by Police Colonel Kulchat Kulchai who notified the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Service to provide assistance

The apartment’s name has been withheld pending a full investigation by Pattaya Police.

The man, a 72-year-old foreign citizen, was found dead on a narrow side street around the property. His name and nationality have not been published pending notification from his family and embassy who will be informed later this morning.

According to Colonel Kulchat Kulchai, the man was a foreign expatriate but had just rented a room in the apartment the night before. A bottle of nearly empty booze and alcohol mixers were found in the room, but no signs of other residents or malicious intent were found.

Colonel Kulchat Kulchai stated to a local reporter that based on early information, the elderly man allegedly had a history of medical problems. A phone number with contact was found prominently on a desk in his room and Colonel Kulchat stated the incident may have been a suicide, although CCTV will be under further review to determine if this was indeed the case or if the fall may have been an accident. used to be.
