Elon Musk has just won a Guinness World Record, although he may have preferred not to win it. As of today, Musk is the biggest loser ever. At least; when it comes to losing personal fortune.
$183 BILLION
Although it is a party for many to break a world record, Musk will probably think differently about this. The billionaire has been named the record holder of the “biggest loss of personal wealth ever” category by the Guinness World Record today in a blog post .

Forbes was the first to find last week that Musk has lost a total of $ 183 billion since November 2021. That amounts to about 173 billion euros. Guinness World Records says it is impossible to pinpoint the exact loss of fortune, but his loss is certainly many times greater than that of the previous record holder. That was SoftBank founder Masayoshi Son, who became $58.6 billion poorer in 2000.
That Musk has lost so much fortune in a short period of time is due to two of his companies. The Tesla shares, of which Musk owns the vast majority, have plummeted enormously since September. This drop probably has to do with the scandals surrounding Musk’s Twitter adventure. The tech bought Twitter last year for $44 billion , but so far that acquisition has only caused him losses.
Well That's a Record !!!

With his current net worth of about $137 billion, Musk also lost his status as the world’s richest man last month; the honor now belongs to Bernard Arnault, founder of LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy), which is estimated to be worth $190 billion.
