Golf quarantine packages in Thailand are looking very attractive!
On February 19, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) welcomed the first international group of tourists. They included 41 South Koreans and one Japanese, in a so-called golf quarantine at Artitaya Golf and Resort in Nakhon Nayok graduated in Thailand.
The special thing about the golf quarantine is that the guests can move freely in the resort area and also play golf after spending the first three days in room isolation.
During the 15-day stay, participants will be tested three times for Covid-19 to ensure they are not at risk of infection and see if they are allowed to leave the facility and roam freely in the country.
There are currently six state-certified golf quarantine resorts in Thailand: three in Kanchanaburi – Mida Golf Club, Evergreen Hills Golf Club and Blue Star Golf Course – and one each in Nakhon Nayok (Artitaya Golf and Resort), Phetchaburi (Sawang Resort and Golf Club ) and Chiang Mai (Artitaya Chiang Mai Golf and Resort).
The following requirements apply to the Gulf quarantine:
1. Origin from a country with a low Covid-19 risk.
2. Certificate of Access (CoE).
3. Proof of a Covid-19 test (RT-PCR) with negative result, issued up to 72 hours prior to departure.
4. Travel health insurance that meets all requirements.
