An employee of one of the four hospitals who reportedly refused to treat a 10-month Covid patient on Sunday said on Aggressive Doctor’s Facebook page that the hospital had done its duty in accordance with medical ethics.
The official in question wrote that the parents admitted visiting a nightlife and department store in Hua Hin, adding that they later deleted an earlier Facebook post on their trip.
The parents claimed to have money and said they preferred private hospitals where celebrities are treated, ”the posting said.
The employee also defended herself that the medical staff had advised the parents on how to treat their child and also tipped her off to contact the Covid-19 hotline 1668.
The child’s mother was desperate and took her luck on Facebook Live to say that her child had a high fever and that it had been rejected by four hospitals for various reasons, such as the “ emergency room is closed ” and the “ wards are full”.
The post went viral and Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital decided to admit the child.
