Houses Collapse along road leading to an area forest park near the border between Thailand and Laos collapsed on July 31, demolishing multiple houses.

This footage shows houses collapse due to erosion, damages to others, as well as sections of the damaged road, which led towards Phu Chi Fah Forest Park in Tap Tao, Chiang Rai Province.

According to local reports from Matichon Online, Chiang Mai News and Sanook, the collapse occurred after heavy rain in the area caused water to accumulate in the soil supporting the road, leading to erosion. At least six structures – including restaurants and coffee shops – were damaged in the area, which is a common stop for visitors venturing into the park.

No deaths were reported at the time of writing.
