The coastal city of Pattaya and Thailand’s tourism authority, TAT, will host the “Thailand Tourism with SHA” event on Pattaya Beach from December 17 to December 19.
SHA stands for Safety and Health Administration, a certification given to companies that meet standards designed primarily to stop the spread of Covid-19. There is also a + ranking, mainly based on the general vaccination status of a company’s staff.
A meeting was held this week led by the plv. Mayor of Pattaya, Wuttisak Ruemkitkan, and the deputy. Director of the Pattaya Office of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Pairat Sukngam.
Wuttisak, told the assembled press: “The Thailand Tourism with SHA event will be held from December 17 to December 19, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Pattaya Beach under strict Covid19 measures”
“The event aims to boost travel and tourism with hygienic safety according to the standards of the Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration (SHA). Local operators will also earn more income. It is also intended to raise public awareness of the SHA program.”
“The event will have many different zones, such as SHA products, tourist routes, dishes from famous hotel chefs and local chefs, local products, cultural demonstrations and concerts,” Wuttisak concluded.
