Things are going well in this eastern province, from February 1st Koh Chang will be part of the “Sandbox” program! By January, Koh Chang had reached 20% occupancy! It’s not much of course, but a positive sign that things are looking good again!
Many restaurants and entertainment venues have already reopened on White Sand Beach. The motor vessel “Thaifun” is also sailing again and offers excursions to the islands off the coast and the most beautiful snorkeling spots around the island.
The very popular “Oodies” starts again with live music and alcoholic refreshments can be enjoyed until 23:00.
“Paul’s Restaurant” in the Top Resort with its first-class German breakfast and the incomparable view of the Gulf of Thailand, the breathtaking sunsets for top-class dining, is open daily from 8 am to 1 pm and from 5 pm to 9 pm!
The national park, which also houses the population of Klong Phru and Tamayom Falls, has also lifted its restrictions. Koh Chang will not be overcrowded in the coming months but will certainly have a similar occupancy rate!
However, please note that if you are coming to Koh Chang directly from abroad, the PCR test must be booked 14 days before your arrival! The plane must land before 12:00, otherwise, the PCR test will stop the same day! Then you better spend a night in Bangkok, do the PCR test there and come to Koh Chang the next day!
The hotel on Koh Chang ensures that the follow-up test takes place between the 5th and 7th day!
