A fire broke out living quarters of a temple in Samut Prakan’s Muang district early Friday. No one was injured.
The Muang Samut Prakan police station was alerted to the fire at Wat Klang at 5am.
Twelve fire engines took about 30 minutes to control the blaze after it swept through the two-storey building.
He said the fire broke out while monks were performing morning prayers in a chapel.
Police have yet to determine the cause of fire.
