The recent outbreak of Covid19 virus, which is mainly related to nightlife in Bangkok, has brought 40 new cases to Chonburi province.

According to the province’s health department, entertainment venues in Pattaya, Sri Racha and Bangkok are responsible for the spread of the virus.

510 people who are considered highly contagious have been tested and are currently awaiting the results.

People can get tested for Covid-19 at hospitals and medical centers all over Chonburi. The provincial government asks the population to contact the health department if they have been to nightclubs, entertainment venues or other places listed by the government.

The health department is also asking residents to follow all safety precautions to protect themselves from the coronavirus, including avoiding crowded places, washing hands frequently, wearing face masks, practicing social distance, and personal hygiene.

The agency has released a schedule that allows people to check if they have recently visited specific places they may have been exposed to the Covid-19 virus. Anyone who has difficulty breathing or has a fever within 14 days of visiting these places is urged to see a doctor.

They will also be asked to inform the hospital that they have visited these locations.
