Nigerian man and Thai woman, suspected drug dealers, arrested after found holding cocaine in Pattaya.
A Nigerian man and a Thai woman have been arrested and charged with cocaine possession and sale in Banglamung. Police also seized their properties, which were reportedly worth more than 500,000 baht.
Region 2 police reported that their division carried out an undercover operation just before the weekend after receiving a tip from a concerned civilian that they were selling cocaine in the Pattaya and Bangkok area.
They were arrested in Takiean Tia subdistrict. The names of the suspects were not specified by the police in the first report.
Police seized 9.8 grams of cocaine and also seized various properties worth 529,665 baht from them. The property was allegedly obtained with illegal profits from drugs.
They were taken to Banglamung Police Station to be charged with illegal possession of category 2 drugs (cocaine) with the intention of selling.
