Police are hunting an alleged thief who broke into a pharmacy in Banglamung yesterday last weekend.
The pharmacist whose name was not disclosed at his request and whose pharmacy is located in the Takean Tia sub-district had reported the break-in to Banglamung Police.
The pharmacist told speedy Jelle, our local reporter, “Last Sunday in the early morning hours at about 3am, a man of about 45 years old got off a motorcycle and walked to the entrance of the pharmacy.”
The man managed to unlock the door with what appeared to be a picklock device, according to the owner and camera footage. The thief eventually took off with more than 10,000 baht in cash and medicines, as well as several gold amulets that were in the store.
The pharmacist has asked other residents to keep an eye out for this alleged thief.
Pattaya and Banglamung police are reportedly looking for the suspect and using CCTV footage to track him down.
