Bangkok metropolitan police and forensics experts are investigating the cause of a fire that damaged sixth-floor rooms at the Montien Hotel in Bangkok, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported yesterday (Nov 15, 2019).

The blaze broke out 5 minutes before 1 p.m. on the sixth floor of the hotel, which is under refurbishment.

It took firemen about 45 minutes to stop the fire. No one was hurt in the incident.

Police forensics experts are investigating the cause of the blaze.
