Just a day after restrictions on restaurants were relaxed, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha made it clear during a press conference that the restrictions in the restaurants would be tightened if the restaurateurs do not follow the agreements made.

The general said the Thai government is considering closing restaurants again. In ‘dark red’ areas such as Bangkok, the limit for guests is 25 per cent of the capacity. Only one person can be seated at a table of four, regardless of whether or not they are family members. It has been found that some restaurants do not adhere to the alcohol ban.

The restaurants also have a strict curfew, depending on the zoning of an area or province. Here too, there are reports of violations of this rule, which immediately violates the emergency decree.
