Thailand’s National Holidays Calendar for 2023 – Celebrate and plan your vacation: flight and hotel reservations

As in any country, Thailand celebrates a variety of holidays, including religious, folk and public holidays officially registered in the national calendar of important events.

When planning a vacation in Thailand, keep in mind that some holidays are celebrated differently here, depending on whether you are in the private sector or in government offices.

For example, the Royal Plowing Ceremony and Khao Phansa Day are recognized as holidays only by government agencies in Thailand.

There are also days when holiday events fall on the weekend. Because of this, there may be Mondays off in Thailand. Check the calendar of holidays in the Sunshine Kingdom in advance of your trip.
