R Kelly was found guilty by a Chicago jury of sex with minors and making child pornography. The singer was found guilty of six of the thirteen offenses in the American city.
The Chicago verdict comes 14 years after an earlier trial in the city in which R. Kelly was charged with sexual misconduct toward underage women. He was eventually acquitted of this.
Yesterday, the singer was found guilty of, among other things, filming the sexual abuse of his then 14-year-old goddaughter. Three of the charges he was found guilty of carrying a minimum prison sentence of 10 years in the US state of Illinois.
Kelly was sentenced this summer in New York to 30 years in prison for sexual abuse, human trafficking, extortion, possession of child pornography and leading a decades-long plan to recruit women and underage girls to sexually abuse them.
