R. Kelly must pay victim compensation for STI and psychological help

R Kelly had to pay one of his victim’s compensation of about 300,000 euros. This amount is intended to pay for psychological help and the treatment of STDs, TMZ reports.

One of the victims of R. Kelly, who was called ‘Jane’ in the lawsuit, has contracted herpes as a result of the sexual abuse of the singer. She is currently being treated for the STD. In addition, she receives psychological help to process the actions of the singer. The costs of these treatments will be borne by the singer. Another victim is also entitled to the same type of compensation, but that amount has not yet been determined.

R Kelly has been incarcerated in New York since 2019 and was found guilty in June of, among other things, child abuse and leading an organization that sought to sexually abuse women and children. For this, the singer already received a prison staff of thirty years.

On top of this prison sentence, the singer already had to pay several damages and fines. On top of this is the most recent compensation for the treatment of the STI. R. Kelly recently claimed to be running out of money. It is therefore unclear whether the victims will ever see any of the compensation again.
