Russian man crushed to death in Pattaya
Dmitry Khokhryakov, 33, from Russia, probably threw himself from a balcony on the 8th floor in the resort city of Pattaya in Thailand.
Russian Dmitry Khokhryakov died as a result of falling from the 8th-floor balcony of a hotel in the popular tourist area of Pratamnak in Pattaya.
On November 20 at about 5 p.m., the city police desk received a report of an accident on Soy Pratamnak, 5 in the hotel. A tourist from Russia fell from the balcony from a great height, resulting in multiple fractures and injuries. Arrived rescuers immediately hospitalized the victim, but he later died in the hospital from his injuries.
The hotel staff told the police that shortly before the incident the young man had been arguing loudly and vigorously with the girl, also a Russian, with whom he had come to rest together in Thailand. The quarrel took place in the tourists’ room, and then the couple went out onto the balcony.
After a while the arguing subsided, and then the impact of a falling body was heard. While witnesses and hotel staff were trying to provide first aid to Dmitry Khokhryakov, the girl staying with him and the last person to see him alive, furtively left the hotel by the fire escape. The police are currently searching for her.
