Schoolgirl slapped for not standing up during national Anthem
last Tuesday a 15-year-old girl was slapped in the face by a nationalist who got angry that she did not stand up during the national anthem at a train station in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.
A woman who was dressed in red had approached the 15-year-old at around 6pm after the national anthem had ended and started attacking her.
Passersby broke up the situation to prevent the violence from getting any worse.
The young girl’s family had arrived to take her home and found out that the attacker was a food vender at the train station.
The food vendor had admitted that she attacked the young girl purely because she had not stood up during the national anthem.

The family of the young girl called the police and logged a complaint asking the police to arrest the food vendor for assault.
The family had explained that their daughter had been on a period and therefore decided not to stand up as the anthem was played
