Yesterday, on his last official day as mayor, Pattaya Mayor Sonthaya Khunplume instructed his secretary to chair a meeting to lead the electrical system development project in front of Pattaya Central Pattana Mall.
Earlier this week, Worapot Pongphalee, the mayor’s secretary, chaired a meeting at Pattaya City Hall as a follow-up to the first-stage update of the electrical systems development project in front of Pattaya Central Mall, which was attended by many officials.
The meeting concluded with the preparation of the underground electricity cable project in the front of Pattaya Central Mall, the electricity distribution system that will be used in the front of the Third Road shopping center, and the request to grant permission for the underground brings of power lines on the South road of Pattaya
However, there are quite a few other pending issues that need to be taken care of before the aforementioned project can begin, such as the pavement and many holes and pits in the front of Pattaya Central Mall. According to the official’s estimate, these matters will be finalized in May, just in time for the newly appointed mayor in the May elections.
Finally, work will take place on April 5 to remove old communication wires in the Lan Pho Na Kluea market to the government savings bank.
