Today Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O’Cha will chair the CCSA’s grand general meeting to discuss some adjustments to the measures taken from the current Covid19 pandemic in Thailand.

According to a spokesman for the governorate, Prime Minister Prayut has acknowledged that a number of thorny topics will be discussed at today’s meeting, including the current Covid19 situation and the return of on-site learning in educational institutions, as proposed by the emergency operations centre, the EOC. , from the Ministry of Disease Control, Ministry of Health.

The adaptation of preventive measures in international arrivals in the country, proposed by the Emergency Operation Center of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, would also be discussed at today’s meeting, as well as the plan for the allocation of vaccines by the Ministry of Health.

Yesterday, Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul told the assembled press that the ministry would also discuss the proposal to cancel RT-PCR tests for international travellers visiting Thailand from March 5, on the grounds that the test is not with was necessary, in order for the infection trend to likely decline, as most infections are domestic and not from outside the kingdom.
