The former plv. Attorney General (not a little boy) is under investigation for serious disciplinary violations in connection with his controversial decision to drop charges against the Red Bull scion in the infamous 2012 hit-and-run case.

The investigation was launched on the orders of the high-level Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPC) meeting chaired on Tuesday by former Attorney General Pachara Yuttidhammadamrong.

The start of the investigation came as a turning point after another investigation led by PPC member Kayasit Pitsawongprakan previously ruled that Nate had not committed any serious disciplinary violations over his decision to kill the Red Bull heir, Vorayuth Yoovidhya alias.” the boss” cannot be sued.

However, the ruling of the Kayasit panel was not approved at the September 10 PPC meeting. The session was instead postponed to Tuesday because some committee members did not have enough time to study the ruling in a file of more than 100 pages.

At yesterday’s meeting, the Pachara said that nine of the 13 committee members present felt that in deciding not to charge Vorayuth, Khun Nate had acted without thorough judgment and had been careless.

It was reported that Attorney General Wongsakul Kittipromwong and his deputy, Chaiya Premprasert, abstained from finding that the Khun Nate had used poor judgment.

The PPC has now decided to appoint an investigative team to investigate the Khun Nate for serious disciplinary violations, which carry the highest penalty: dismissal of the prosecutors.

However, Nate reserves the right to request the Administrative Court to reverse the decision to investigate him.

The serious disciplinary investigation against Nate will be chaired by Thanapit Mulpruek, a former director general of the Special Courts Division.

KhunThanapit will appoint two members to work on the panel.

Pachara said the disciplinary panel investigating Khun Nate has up to 60 days to finalize its findings. However, the examination can be extended three times.
