The CCSA is going to decide today about a possible lockdown of Greater Bangkok

Must read

The CCSA is today set to make a decision on the Health Ministry’s proposal to impose a strict 14-day lockdown on the greater Bangkok area.

Bangkok and the neighbouring provinces of Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani and Samut Prakan were declared strictly controlled areas on May 15 due to the increasing number of Covid-19 cases.

The lockdown now being talked about would be similar to that of April last year. That includes cordoning off most high-risk areas and banning inter-county travel. They are only allowed to leave their home to buy everyday goods.

It is important for you as a guest in Thailand to know that the measures and developments regarding the Covid19 virus (can) change at any moment, don’t blame your news bear if he does not report the changes in time.
