The horror-like Mountain B nightclub in eastern Thailand has been demolished
The Mountain B pub in Sattahip that caught fire, killed 25 people and injured 32, has been demolished.
Last Saturday, the remains of the Mountain B nightclub on Sukhumvit Road in Plu Ta Luang sub-district were completely demolished. All iron structures were removed from the area.
Thirteen people were pronounced dead at the scene in the fire on August 5. Twelve people were later pronounced dead in hospitals. A total of 25 people have died from the incident, while 32 people are being treated in hospitals and at home.
The demolition of the nightclub is not the end of this horrific fire, however. Relatives and families of the victims have pleaded with the DSI in Bangkok to conduct an independent investigation into the fire versus regional and local authorities only, as many believed it involved hidden or silent business associates who should be held accountable called.
A father and son believed to be the club’s main owners have previously been arrested. Both are currently out on bail pending legal proceedings in multiple cases brought by the authorities and the victim’s families.
