The case against those accused of the alleged cover-up in the case of Red Bull heir Vorayuth Yoovidhya continues to drag on. Supha Piyajitti of the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission told Thai media the investigation would take 14 months. The agency will announce its conclusions at the end of next year.
Fourteen people are charged, including many senior police officers.
“The Boss,” as he is known – drove his Ferrari into a police sergeant in Bangkok’s Thong Lo district in September 2012, dragging him several hundred yards, killing him. The case has been embroiled in controversy with almost weekly reporting at Olleke Bolleke in Thailand.
The latest news is that “The Boss” would be in Austria. The heir is high on the Interpol wanted list but seems out of reach of the Thai police.
