Yesterday’s campaign targeted the third dose of a vaccine against Covid-19 using the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine booster. Some attendees also received a second vaccine from Sinopharm.
Pattaya Mayor Sonthaya Khunplome told the local press: “I have received two doses of Sinovac vaccine before, but this was early in the year and as we prepare to open to vaccinated foreign tourists, I wanted to share my personal protection and an example to the community and show that our vaccines are safe and effective.”
