The names of four Thai women are on Forbes’ Asian 50 Over 50 list

The names of viet Thai women have been included in Forbes’ prestigious “50 over 50 2022″ Asian list, which concerns women over 50 who leave a positive and lasting impact” in the spotlight on the Asia-Pacific region move.

The four personalities are:

  • Nualphan Lamsam, 55 – Chairman of the Port Football Club and President and CEO of Muang Thai Insurance.

In addition to being the chairman of Port FC, Nualphan was appointed manager of the Thai national football team in August 2021. She led the team to become the 2020 AFF Championship champion.

Meanwhile, its insurance company Muang Thai ranked second in the Thai insurance market with $8 billion.

  • Jareeporn Jarukornsakul, 54 – co-founder and chairman of logistics and industrial conglomerate WHA Group.

Jareeporn founded the WHA Group with her late husband in 2003. She is a supporter of the Eastern Economic Corridor to develop Thai industry

The WHA Group has responded to economic challenges by embracing Chinese investors during the US-China trade war and diversifying in healthcare infrastructure.

  • Ruenvadee Suwanmongkol, 57 – Secretary-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Ruenvadee became SEC’s first female secretary-general in 2017. She has taken a crackdown on insider trading and fraud.

Ruenvadee has spoken out about the turbulence of digital asset management while working to facilitate finance for SMEs.

  • Supinya Junsuta aka Jay Fai, is the 77-year-old chef, and owner of the now-famous Michelin star restaurant Raan Jay Fai.

Supinya started her seven-table food stall in Bangkok in the 1980s. She worked six days a week for the past four decades serving the signature crab omelets.

In 2018, her stall Raan Jay Fai received a Michelin star in the inaugural Bangkok edition of the food guide. Her stall again received the Michelin star in 2019 and 2021.
