A survey conducted by a Thai Superpoll found that more than 90 percent of the Thais surveyed have spoken out in favour of opening the borders to foreign tourists.
Foreigners would set the tourist industry in motion and thus boost the economy, claimed the majority of women and men interviewed between March 17 and 20.
The survey’s motto was
“Open the country – get rid of the crisis”.
The more than 90 percent who called for the country to open also want to end political violence, scams and corrupt politicians.
