Three-year-old toddler in Samut Prakan brutally murdered

Must read

A disturbing story has surfaced about the deliberate murder of a three-year-old boy in a suburb of the Thai capital Bangkok. This followed the discovery of Nong Bas, aged 3, in a canal at Rattanakosin 200 Years Road in the Bang Bo Police Department of Samut Prakan on Nov. 9.

The little boy was attacked and seriously injured, but an autopsy determined the cause of death was drowning.

Now the mother, Anisara, and her father, Rewat, and a friend named Waraporn are in custody. They are all from Bang Khun Thian, many miles from where the boy was found.

A motorcycle used to transport the boy served as evidence.

Yesterday the press at the Bang Bo police station asked the three suspects, all charged with intentional murder if they had anything to say to Bas or his family.

They apologized with “many tears and lyrical grief”.

Anisara’s father said he wasn’t sure if the boy was dead when they threw him into the canal. But his leg was stiff.

The boy also tested positive for Covid, the Daily News reported, and the mother was also positive, meaning several police officers have been quarantined for the case.

Internal sources indicated that the child’s mother had left her son to the family for care.

Anisara told that she took the little boy to visit some monkeys at the Samae Dam and lost him.

She later claimed to have found him and said he had been attacked by strangers.
