Tolls lifted on three highways in Thailand on December 5 and 10
The Expressway Authority of Thailand (Exat) announced yesterday that three expressways under its control will be opened for free use on Dec. 5 and 10, to facilitate people’s travel during the holidays of King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great’s birthday (and National Day). Father’s Day) and Constitution Day.
Vehicles can pass through all toll gates of the Chalerm Maha Nakhon, Sirat and Udon Ratthaya highways for free from 1 AM to midnight on the dates mentioned.
At the same time, the Exat also urged people to use the Easy Pass system to pay tolls instead of cash or coins to limit physical contact, which could spread the Covid19 virus and other germs.
The Easy Pass can be easily topped up using the Exat Portal mobile application, which can also check for available balance and latest promotions. Exat also offers an application called Exat Traffic for those who need roadside assistance on the highway.
